Fresh squeezed lime juice for some homemade Limeade. We have been loving our new Kitchen-Aid juicer attachment! We ordered a beverage jar from Sur La Table but didn’t like it when we saw it in person, so we returned it. It did however come with a great recipe for some Limeade.
Blackeyed Peas and Kale - I cheated and used canned Black-eyed peas with bacon and jalapenos, but loved how it tasted!
Braised Brisket with Bourbon-Peach Glaze - This tasted amazing. We used Guinness as our ‘stout’ and some of our homemade bourbon-peach preserves for the glaze.
As always we made too much food! Vegetarian Chili, Pulled Pork, Corn Bread Casserole, Deep Fried Pickles with Siracha Mayo, Onion Dip, Buffalo Chicken Meatballs with Blue Cheese Dip, Blondies, and Brownies.
